The Re-offense Rates of Adult Sex Offenders

The recidivism rate of adult sex offenders has been quoted to be as low as 3% and as high as 88%.  In a literature review completed by Dr. Brake and Greig Veeder, M.S.W., 58 research studies of sex crimes reporting statistics and sex offender recidivism in adults are surveyed and the relationship between recidivism and re-offense rates is explored.
